Dr Christiaan Victor completed his undergraduate degree (BChD) at the University of Pretoria (UP) in June 2001. During his final year, he was selected to participate as an exchange student to the Dental school of the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.

Currently, he is based full time at his private practice in Pretoria where he has practiced since 2002 after completing his community service. Specializing in endodontics, implant treatments and prosthetic rehabilitations.

In 2004, Dr Victor got involved in implant dentistry and attended several local and international implant courses. Among others, he completed a two-year certificate with Prof. Andre van Zyl at UP in 2013, an advanced one-year course in 2015 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology (cum laude) in 2016.

The knowledge he gained about implantology led him to develop a keen interest in Endodontology. As an understudy of Prof. Peet van der Vyver, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontology (cum laude) in 2017. Most recently in 2020 he completed his Master’s (MSc) degree in Endodontics at UP, which he passed with distinction.

Currently he is a member of Study Group 1, South African Association of Aesthetic dentistry (SAAAD), SADA, Endodontic society of SA and Key Opinion leader for Henry Schein South Africa.

FULL DAY BASIC ENDO COURSE

Are you a newly or recently graduated dentist, or would you like to revisit your whole, basic endodontic protocol? Still feel a bit overwhelmed by root canal treatments?
Then, this might be the course for you! Come and build your endodontic confidence!
During this full day course, we will revise the basic steps of endodontic treatment with a hands-on experience, backed-up by academic knowledge.
This will be a day filled with endodontic entertainment, showcasing the newest “highend” Swiss endodontic instrumentation offered by FKG. Demonstrating novel advances in threedimensional root canal preparation (with speed and efficiency).

Your journey will take you through basic diagnosis, pre-endodontic setup and basic endodontic rubber dam techniques.
We will do a full hands-on training on a FKG file system (and explore the systems available to suit your needs), after which we will complete the course with irrigation protocols and final obturation techniques.
This course is aimed at upskilling your basic endodontic knowledge in one full day, getting you ready to RISE to excellence on the next root canal treatment challenge you are faced with in your practice.

Come and join us for an evening filled with endodontic entertainment,

ADVANCED COURSE

Have you previously attended one of Dr Christiaan’s endodontic courses, or a basic course? Do you need follow-up education?
Are you a more experienced dentist and require troubleshooting for more difficult cases that you need help with?
Then, this will definitely be the course for you!

This full day course will be uniquely shaped around a hands-on swiss FKG endo experience. We will showcase “high end” swiss novel three-dimensional shaping file systems from FKG to help you achieve better results with more challenging cases.

What is extraordinary about this course? You will have your chance to submit your own input for this day of endodontic problem solving... (should you wish to do so!)

Once you have registered, you will be contacted prior to the start of the course to submit questions and cases that you would like addressed during the day (anonymously if you wish). This will ensure that you “get what you came for”!

A full day of endodontic adventure, interaction, and case discussions.

Some of the topics that might be addressed (depending on the demand): management of open apexes, re-treatments, large periapical infections, apical surgery and many more.

This will be a limited seating event due to the interactive nature. Be sure to book your place a soon as possible.
